Here is a first mock-up of the main Graphical User Interface:
Note: this is from a much earlier top-down version of the project. This will be full 3D.
Top part
The top of the screen has the following elements:
- A menu on the left side (settings, save/load, quit...)
- A date at the top, which would also act as speed control
- A list of recent messages (double tap to see past log)
- A time/weather icon showing current date&time/weather (double tap to forecast)
Main screen
The main screen has two floating icons sections:
- On the left side, the currently selected dweller is shown, allowing for more information to pop-up when tapped (tired, injured, happy, doing what, etc...)
- On the right side, alerts
The rest of the main screen will be a first person view from the character's perspective, or a third person view (in which case the player doesn't have direct control)
